Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to monitor the computerized maintenance system (Maximo/ Cartograph) for compliance with the Storm Water decree and to manage work order documentation for long reaches as well as movers. This position will Plan and Schedule Preventative Maintenance along with ongoing maintenance in collaboration with Work Coordinators and Foreman. Duties also include developing strategies for managing and improving productivity, maintain and analyze information on assets.
Responsibilities
Creating and updating work orders in Maximo/ Cartograph as calls and emails come in from 311. Tracking time, personnel and resource needed Working with GIS to research changes that will help crews out in the field Must be able to communicate with internal or external customers and be professional under any conditions When given a request, ensure that you properly communicate with your Foreman, Work Coordinator, Planner Schedulers, and Assistant Director, complete daily reports and work orders Ensures all reports and work orders must be legible Plan and schedule major ditch mowing and grading, completed by long reaches and mowers Repair ditch washouts, special projects, track FEMA, performance measures, eel Must be able to inspect work sites once a job is complete Must be able to coordinate with Work Coordinators and offer solution if the job was not completed correctly Must be available to respond to any emergency within two hours of notification. Responses can be done by phone Performs other duties as assigned Position Type and Typical Hours of Work
Exempt - Full-Time - Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Must be available to work additional hours as needed Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Three (3) years' experience. Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hiring Proof of Automobile Liability Insurance Employment Testing
