About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and manage all financial, business, and accounting aspects. The CFO will be responsible for establishing and recommending economic strategies, objectives, and policies, as well as managing financial controls, reporting, treasury, banking relationships, accounting, tax compliance, risk management, and real estate management. This role involves preparing and presenting financial and operating reports, developing business guidelines, and ensuring the company's financial health. The CFO will also be involved in profit and loss management and all balance sheet activities related to the financial planning of the company.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, finance, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA required. A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience is necessary, and energy plant operating experience, banking relationship management, and private equity experience are considered a plus. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of GAAP, be proficient in MS Office and accounting and reporting software, and possess the ability to research and understand complex financial issues. The CFO will also be expected to be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of managing personnel with little supervision. Supervisory responsibilities include leading a team of financial professionals and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
