About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership, providing strategic direction for all financial operations, and ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with government contracting requirements. This role involves overseeing accounting, reporting, treasury, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as leading company-wide budget development and long-term financial planning. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing financial processes, driving improvements in automation and reporting accuracy, and building a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred. A CPA or CMA certification is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years' of progressive accounting and finance experience, with a minimum of 7 years' in a senior leadership role, and extensive knowledge of Deltek Costpoint. Experience in government contracting financial management, including FAR, CAS, and GAAP compliance, is essential. The CFO must have a proven track record in managing government audits, leading financial strategy in a mid-to-large government contracting organization, and the ability to partner with executives to influence company-wide strategy. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, and experience in supporting business growth through M&A or large-scale contract transitions is a plus.
