About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic, multi-unit restaurant group. The CFO will be responsible for all financial aspects of the organization, with a focus on financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and reporting. This role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least 6 years' experience as a CFO in the restaurant or hospitality industry, and a total of 14 years' in accounting or finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial management, expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting, and experience working with Board members and investors. The CFO will lead financial planning and analysis, oversee accounting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Essential skills for the CFO position at the company include a proven track record in financial management within the hospitality industry, particularly in driving profitability and growth. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement financial policies, and risk management strategies, and lead and mentor the finance and accounting team. Strong leadership and communication skills are a must, and experience with R365 is highly valued. While not essential, a CPA and/or MBA is preferred, and experience in retail and/or liquor is a plus.
