The Company is seeking a Vice President for Market Risk Management and Product Control with a focus on secondary trading of asset-backed securities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all market risk and product control aspects of this initiative, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of P&L and market risk monitoring and reporting. This role requires close collaboration with the trading desk to understand market trends, proactive risk management, and the ability to assess a wide range of risks, including credit, liquidity, compliance, legal, and regulatory. The candidate will also be involved in the development and implementation of independent price verification, front office to back office reconciliation, and will be expected to actively participate in product and regulatory projects.
Applicants for this position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and 3-7+ years of experience in market risk management and product control, with a strong background in financial markets, particularly in ABS or related securitized products.
