About the Role
The Company is seeking an experienced Interest Rates Derivatives Trader to join its Financial Markets division. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading G10 linear products across rates and FX, with a primary focus on USD and a secondary focus on other G10 currencies. The role involves providing competitive pricing, execution, and hedging of interest rates and FX derivatives, maximizing profitability within risk limits, and ensuring the financial targets of the desk are met. The trader will also be expected to contribute to the improvement of trading systems, work closely with the global sales team to maintain the client franchise, and be aware of key regulatory developments.
Applicants for this Vice President position should have a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and at least 6 years of relevant market and trading experience. Market expertise in linear interest rate products, including swaps, XCCY swaps, futures, cash bonds, T-locks, and invoice spreads, is essential. The role requires a self-starter with a results-oriented mentality, a critical mindset, and a willingness to take ownership of issues.
