About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The Interim CFO will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial processes, including but not limited to, closes, budgets, returns, payroll, donations, grants, models, and insurance. This role involves managing and training financial team members, sharing pertinent financial information with the executive team, and working with external accountants to ensure smooth audit processes. The Interim CFO will also be tasked with organizing and filing essential company documents, as well as recommending company-wide financial plans, procedures, and software.
Candidates for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in supervisory financial executive roles. Expert-level skills in the Microsoft Office suite are required, and knowledge of Great Plains and related software is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience with fund management, reimbursement, and contracts, and possess strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to delegate effectively.
