About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Health Equity Accelerator, a pioneering initiative dedicated to advancing health equity and closing disparity gaps. The successful candidate will be a strategic, collaborative, and equity-driven leader with a rare combination of clinical training, business sophistication, community insights, and leadership experience. Responsibilities for this role include catalyzing the transformation of the organization as a clinical care provider and payer to address health equity gaps, partnering with workgroups to support the development and execution of annual goals, and collaborating with senior leadership to advance the impact of the Accelerator. The Vice President will also be responsible for building health equity champions, innovating practices to advance racial health equity, and elevating the organization's equity work both internally and externally.

Applicants for the Vice President position should have a medical degree strongly preferred, or a Master's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience. Strong business acumen, financial management skills, and a proven track record in creating and managing health equity programs are essential. The role requires exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the social determinants of health, a passion for advancing health equity, and a commitment to ethical practices, transparency, and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and excellent organizational and collaborative skills are also necessary.
