The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key leader, responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's objectives. This role involves overseeing all financial operations, including budget management, financial statement preparation, and compliance with legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A CPA or CMA certification is also desirable. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior financial management position, particularly within the construction industry, is required. The CFO will be expected to have a proven track record in financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful CFO at the company will be a seasoned and mature leader with a background that includes broad finance experience, starting ideally in audit and progressing to providing strategic financial recommendations. They will have experience managing the finance function within a diverse entity and will be adept at leading a team to ensure the use of appropriate financial processes. The role is pivotal in the company's development, with a focus on strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The candidate should be proficient in financial management software, MS Office, and have a solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. They will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with external financial partners and implementing internal control systems to safeguard company assets. High-level financial reporting skills and the ability to forecast financial trends and assess risk are essential for this position.
