Compensation:

$30.69/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish)

Hours:

Regular full-time, exempt (40 hours/week)

NeighborImpact Housing Overview

NeighborImpact's Housing program offers crucial assistance to individuals and families in need within Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson counties, as well as the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. The program can provide eviction prevention and deposit assistance, prioritizing applications based on need rather than a first-come, first-served basis.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Rental Assistance Coordinator is responsible for supervising and supporting the rental assistance team and providing support to the Housing department. This role includes overseeing and supporting program participants, collaborating with community partners and property owners, and ensuring the efficient coordination of the Rental Assistance program. Key responsibilities involve monitoring case files for accuracy and completeness, supervising team members, and adapting and directing policies and procedures for effective program operations. Additionally, this role ensures effective application tracking and handling, client communications, and some funding responsibilities.

Requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in social services or related field required Or in lieu of a bachelor's degree, associate's degree in related field and at least 4 years of experience in social services or related field At least 2 years of supervisory experience required Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills required This position is occasionally rated as active and may require the individual to lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally kneeling, stooping and bending may be required Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment: Valid driver's license Proof of current auto insurance Access to reliable transportation Satisfactory criminal background check Required within 90 days of hire and then throughout employment: Acquire First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Complete Bloodborne pathogens and Naloxone Training

Preferred Strong knowledge of federal and state housing programs preferred Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
