Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Administrative Assistant for an apartment community located in Braintree, MA. The role assists the efficient operation of the site’s Management Office by answering calls courteously and expediting resident‑related issues to appropriate staff.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all calls promptly and courteously; refer to appropriate staff.
  • Open incoming mail and distribute to appropriate staff.
  • Accept and process maintenance orders, complete work order forms and forward to Service Manager for timely completion.
  • Perform general office filing.
  • Prepare memorandums outlining administrative procedures and policies for staff and monitor compliance.
  • File and maintain Association documents and records; create and maintain database and spreadsheet files.
  • Provide assistance or coverage at other sister sites within the company portfolio as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to facilitate effective site operations.
  • Take initiative and be self‑motivated.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years business experience providing clerical and administrative support.
  • Knowledge of OneSite.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
