Director, R&D Data Science & Digital Health, Immunology RWE. This position can be located in one of the following US locations: Spring House, PA; Cambridge, MA; New Brunswick, NJ; Raritan, NJ; Titusville, NJ; San Diego, CA; or in Barcelona, Spain. The role is part of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine and focuses on designing and executing a Data Science & Digital Health (DSDH) Real World Evidence (RWE) strategy for the Immunology Therapeutic Area (IMM TA). Contribute to the design and execution of a Data Science & Digital Health (DSDH) RWE strategy aligned with IMM TA goals and objectives. Partner with DSDH colleagues and the IMM TA to define and prioritize a portfolio of innovative medicines in development in alignment with the IMM TA strategy. Work closely with clinical project teams and functional area partners (Discovery, Late Development, Epidemiology, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and other relevant functions) to meet objectives. Provide strategic input into Immunology R&D DSDH RWE priorities ranging from individual projects to large collaborations with internal and external partners. Identify viable data science and digital health opportunities, then conceive, develop, and implement end-to-end study designs and data analytical solutions. Collaborate with DAS Leaders and CDT to develop RWE DSDH strategies to improve early and late-phase study designs (e.g., patient identification/endpoint selection and development of predictive algorithms). Serve as a liaison to functional area partners to ensure alignment on key DSDH programmatic goals within IMM. Execute the DSDH RWE strategy across cross-functional teams and Clinical Teams. Provide strategic leadership on managing program-related issues and present to and negotiate with leadership on development plans. Participate in or lead cross-functional teams evaluating new opportunities, disease areas, product ideas, and franchise strategies. Provide input into due diligence activities and participate in cross-departmental or cross-functional projects with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine impact. Author abstracts and manuscripts for publication based on clinical trial data and real-world data. Build relationships with opinion leaders and may serve as a company spokesperson for publications and presentations to health authorities and advisory meetings. This is not an exhaustive list of duties. Additional duties may be assigned. Required Qualifications

PhD, PharmD, or MD (or equivalent) in statistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, epidemiology, applied mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, or related fields. Candidates with a Master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience may be considered. 8+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical R&D, data science, digital health, including life sciences companies or consulting firms with DS/DSDH practices. Proven ability to collaborate in a matrix organization and influence strategic and technical partners. Familiarity with data science and digital health. Experience with healthcare datasets (e.g., EHR, insurance claims). Preferred Skills

Strong background in RWE/Data Science & Digital Health. Knowledge of Immunology is strongly preferred. Experience delivering DS projects using predictive technologies, data mining, and/or text mining. Experience with healthcare datasets (EHR, claims, registry data). Proficiency with data science tools and programming languages (SQL, Python, R). Experience defining use cases for deep learning, foundational models, and machine learning. Location, Schedule & Travel

This position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days remote; no fully remote option). Locations include Spring House, PA; Cambridge, MA; New Brunswick, NJ; Raritan, NJ; Titusville, NJ; San Diego, CA; or Barcelona, Spain. Approximately 15% travel domestically and internationally may be required. Compensation & Benefits

Anticipated base pay range: $160,000 to $276,000.
