What to Expect
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Program Manager to join our Accounting and Engineering team. This role bridges the gap between finance and technology, driving operational excellence in accounting workflows, financial systems, and reporting automation. The ideal candidate brings deep accounting knowledge, strong project management experience, and a hands‑on approach to solving complex cross‑functional challenges in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a technical and operational liaison between Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Billing, AR, and other cross‑functional teams
Drive key initiatives across revenue accounting, cash application, AR, and month/quarter‑end book closure processes
Build and maintain dashboards and reports (using Tableau or similar tools) to monitor revenue metrics, automate reconciliations, and detect anomalies
Support month‑end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and account reconciliations
Identify and automate manual accounting workflows by building scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions
Partner with stakeholders to define data and reporting requirements for audits, compliance, and operational improvements
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of strategic projects across Accounting and Risk Management functions
Prepare and deliver clear communications, updates, and presentations tailored for both executive and operational audiences
Support SOX compliance by helping lead and document internal controls and audit processes
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus or equivalent experience in a fast‑paced environment and with autonomous execution
2‑3 years of hands‑on accounting experience, including month‑end close and reconciliation processes
6+ years of project/program management experience, preferably supporting accounting, audit, or risk functions
Deep understanding of full‑cycle accounting, including revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and reconciliation best practices
Experience leading process improvement initiatives and driving accounting automation; experience with billing, revenue automation, and payment systems is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of order‑to‑cash workflows and revenue recognition principles
Proficient in data analytics and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel; familiar with JIRA or similar tools
Proven ability to manage multi‑workstream projects, prepare executive‑level status updates, and work across cross‑functional teams and external partners
Self‑starter with excellent prioritization, multitasking, and ownership skills and strong communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and detail for technical and non‑technical audiences
Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks

$124,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
