Overview
Currently seeking a detail-oriented
Architectural Inspector
to support a major Structural and MEP Infrastructure project in Washington, D.C., in partnership with the
General Services Administration (GSA) . This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in federal construction, particularly those experienced in
historic renovations and new construction . This will be a full-time role with one of our largest clients, a global consulting firm that plans, designs, engineers, and manages large-scale projects for clients across various sectors, including transportation, buildings, water, environment, and new energy.
Additional openings for Electrical Inspectors, Mechanical Inspectors, and Structural Inspectors.
Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Must-Haves
Proven experience on
$50M+ Federal construction projects
(GSA, DoD preferred)
Strong background in
historic preservation and new construction
Expertise in
architectural component installation oversight
and
design/specification reviews
Proficiency in performing
material take-off
Nice-to-Haves
Familiarity with MEP systems and infrastructure projects
Experience working in occupied federal facilities
Knowledge of sustainable building practices and LEED standards
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Conduct on-site inspections of architectural installations to ensure compliance with design documents, specifications, and federal standards
Review architectural drawings and specifications for constructability and accuracy
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve field issues
Document inspection findings and maintain detailed daily reports
Support quality assurance efforts and ensure adherence to safety protocols
