at UEI College, Chula Vista campus — responsibilities include managing and leading the campus education team by overseeing delivery of quality educational programs and developing and implementing effective academic strategies to meet student retention and completion goals. The Role (Primary Responsibilities): Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures. Supervise and manage faculty members and staff by providing day-to-day performance coaching and monthly advisements. Recruit, train, and develop faculty members and staff. Conduct classroom observations on a regular basis. Collaborate with faculty to perform curriculum reviews to improve quality of instruction. Prepare class schedules to optimize class size for effective student learning experiences. Ensure all students are advised regularly regarding their progress. Advise, coach, and monitor all students at risk of violating attendance or academic progress policies. Administer student surveys, review feedback, and prepare action plans to address concerns identified through surveys. Monitor campus-level metrics related to retention, attendance, and completion to meet campus and organizational objectives. Manage Education department budget, including staff, faculty, and resources allocation to ensure effective Education operations and meet targets in student retention, completion, and Active Earning Population. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 3 years of combined management, teaching, and education administration experience. Teaching and Curriculum Development: demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of what students need to succeed in a post-secondary environment; show a track record of effective teaching, curriculum development, and education administration. Communication: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution. Modern Workforce Skills: strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other daily-use software. Management: proven self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can build a great team.
