Overview This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact in a newly created leadership role. We’re seeking a
Director of SEC Reporting
to bring all financial reporting functions in-house and establish scalable processes that support a growing, publicly reporting organization. You’ll own the preparation of all SEC filings, ensure compliance with evolving regulations, and serve as a key advisor to senior leadership. Base pay range $165,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr

Own the preparation of all SEC filings, ensure compliance with evolving regulations, and serve as a key advisor to senior leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $165-185,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA required
5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years focused on SEC reporting for a public company or within a public accounting firm
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements)
Proven experience managing quarterly and annual filings, footnote disclosures, and XBRL tagging
Demonstrated ability to design and implement reporting processes, internal controls, and documentation from the ground up
Strong technical accounting skills and familiarity with accounting research and policy implementation
Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial reporting systems
Preferred Qualifications
Background in coordinating with external auditors and legal counsel
Experience with equity accounting, stock-based compensation, and consolidation processes
Experience with SaaS and/or M&A preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and integrity
Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and develop team members as the department grows
