We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper

to join our growing accounting firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting our accountants in preparing accurate and timely financial reports for a variety of clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Annual Salary:

$65,000 (Full-time, on-site in San Francisco) Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update general ledger accounts by accurately recording financial transactions Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and issue invoices, manage billing cycles, and follow up on outstanding payments Support senior accountants with month-end and year-end closings Prepare financial statements and other financial reports for client review Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant laws and regulations Communicate with clients regarding their financial data, documentation, and queries Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both digital and physical Qualifications

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role (preferably in an accounting firm or professional services environment) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.) Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
