Overview

The Plant Controller is a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the manufacturing facility. This role ensures financial integrity, cost control, and strategic financial planning to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities

Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the plant. Monitor and analyze plant performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities. Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and variance analysis. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, in compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards. Support plant management in decision-making with financial insights and recommendations. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance. Collaborate with operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Manage capital expenditure planning and project financials. Work closely with corporate finance teams to align plant financial goals with company objectives. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to foster development and high performance. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred). 7+ years of finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
