Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr The Accounting Manager will lead a team of 4 direct reports and oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment, and can confidently lead, coach, and develop a team. You’ll manage month-end close, financial reporting, and accrual-based accounting for three diverse revenue streams — restaurants ($130M), property ($80M), and aviation. This is a highly visible position where you’ll partner directly with senior leadership, including the CEO and Controller, to streamline processes, implement SOPs, and drive automation. Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the accounting team; conduct weekly meetings and provide coaching for underperforming team members. Oversee full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; support external audits and tax filings. Partner with operations to manage cost controls and improve profitability. Drive process improvement and automation in AP, expense management, and reporting systems. Assist in setting up standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support scaling in a high-growth environment. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-entity environments Strong understanding of accrual accounting and financial statement analysis Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment Experience with Restaurant365 or similar ERP systems strongly preferred Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills Willingness to work ~48 hours per week during peak periods (reduced as team expands) Why Join Us
