Position Summary: We are seeking a professional, experienced, and effective Director/VP of Finance with a proven history of accounting and finance success to join our team. This role will perform functions related to improving the financial performance of our local homebuilding operations. You will serve as the primary leader for all finance and accounting functions for the division team and act as the division’s Compliance Officer relating to our Corporate Code of Conduct and Major Transaction procedures. The title will be determined at the time of candidate selection based on skill-set and experience. Hybrid or remote options will be considered. Responsibilities
Responsible for cost control in the division Develop and implement procedures that impact budgets, costs and strategic goals Prepare and review pro formas, financial statements, forecasts and G&A expenditures Partner with the Division President and other leaders to increase overall division performance Requirements
Demonstrated track record of positive results related to financial acumen, competitive analysis, strategic planning, and business operations Leadership with an understanding of key metrics that drive a successful team College degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA or MBA required Homebuilding experience preferred, but other related industries may be considered Benefits
