Senior Technical Manager, Environmental Engineering

— Chamblee, Georgia office. This role will play a key part in the Site Assessment and Remediation Team within the Earth & Environment Business, contributing expertise and leadership to a variety of environmental projects. Responsibilities
Lead a diverse range of environmental projects, overseeing site investigations, remediation, and development of risk management strategies. Provide technical leadership with hands-on project management and direct client engagement to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and client goals. Collaborate with leadership and project teams to drive project and business objectives; manage multiple projects with deliverables, schedules, and budgets. Mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers and scientists, providing direction and technical guidance throughout all phases of project delivery. Prepare detailed technical reports, interpret complex environmental data, and develop effective corrective action plans tailored to client and regulatory needs. Expand environmental remediation and engineering services within the Industrial and Commercial sector by leveraging WSP’s client network. Travel to project sites as required to support project execution and business development activities. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or related engineering discipline Essential professional licensure/certification (GA P.E. or ability to obtain license) Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board and other EPD/EPA Programs Minimum of 10 years of environmental project experience, including task management, proposal writing, client contact, and regulatory interaction Experience with site investigations and remediation of environmental impacts to soil and groundwater Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members, with strict adherence to QA/QC Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience writing technical reports and project proposals Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol/harassment policies Preferred Qualifications
Master's degrees in Environmental, Civil or other engineering related discipline About WSP
