Senior Technical Manager, Environmental Engineering Join to apply for the Senior Technical Manager, Environmental Engineering role at WSP in the U.S.

Overview WSP has an opening for a Senior Technical Manager, Environmental Engineering at our Chamblee, Georgia office. This role will play a key part in our Site Assessment and Remediation Team within the Earth & Environment Business, contributing expertise and leadership to a variety of environmental projects.

Responsibilities

Lead on a diverse range of environmental projects, overseeing site investigations, remediation, and development of risk management strategies.

Provide technical leadership with hands-on project management and client engagement to align projects with regulatory standards and client goals.

Manage multiple projects, ensuring deliverables, schedules, and budgets are achieved.

Prepare detailed technical reports, interpret complex environmental data, and develop corrective action plans.

Mentor and supervise junior engineers and scientists across all project phases.

Collaborate with leadership to drive project and business objectives, and expand services within Industrial and Commercial sectors.

Travel to project sites as required to support execution and business development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or related engineering discipline

Essential professional licensure/certification (GA P.E. or ability to obtain license)

Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board and other EPD/EPA Programs

Minimum of 10 years of environmental project experience, including task management, proposal writing, client contact, and regulatory interaction

Experience with site investigations and remediation of environmental impacts to soil and groundwater

Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members with QA/QC adherence

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience writing technical reports and proposals

Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to WSP safety policies

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degrees in Environmental, Civil or related engineering discipline
