Senior Estimator – High-Rrise & Building Construction Miami, FL | $150,000–$170,000 salary + excellent benefits About the Opportunity: We’re representing a premier general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-rise and complex building projects across South Florida. As a Senior Estimator, you’ll take ownership of large-scale estimating efforts, leading preconstruction phases on marquee projects that define the skyline. This is a visible, client-facing role where precision, presentation, and strategic insight are key.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead estimating efforts on high-rise, luxury, and large-scale building projects from conceptual design through final bids.

Review architectural drawings, specs, and contracts to prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates.

Oversee subcontractor bid management including outreach, scope alignment, and bid leveling.

Develop cost models and pricing strategies with value engineering options tailored to vertical construction.

Collaborate with project managers and executives to align budgets, schedules, and logistics.

Represent the company in pre-bid meetings, presenting estimates and constructability insights to owners, architects, and clients.

Mentor and guide junior estimators, instilling best practices and continuous improvement.

Strengthen relationships with key subcontractors and trade partners in the high-rise construction market.

What They’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

8+ years of progressive estimating experience, with emphasis on high-rise, luxury, or large-scale building projects.

Expertise in building systems, cost structures, and scheduling.

Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and estimating software (Sage/Timberline, On-Screen Takeoff, Building Connected).

Strong presentation and communication skills for client-facing responsibilities.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
