Provide on-site technical service and system support at customer facilities across the Boston area. Monitor and optimize water treatment programs, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient system operation. Perform equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of chemical feed, filtration, and RO systems. Manage chemical inventory and feed systems; track product usage and prepare detailed service reports. Partner closely with leadership to share technical findings, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. Stay current with Apex\'s industry-leading training and professional development programs. Represent Apex with professionalism, reliability, and a safety-first mindset. What We're Looking For
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences. Proven field experience in industrial water treatment or related process industries. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a professional image on-site. Comfortable with local travel (daily) and occasional overnight trips (2-4 nights per month). Must hold a valid driver's license, be able to lift 50 lbs., and pass a respirator fit test. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field. Hands-on experience with RO systems, softeners, filtration, disinfection, or chemical dosing. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory guidelines for water treatment systems. Certifications or advanced training in water treatment or industrial safety are a plus.
