JOB SUMMARY:

The firm is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented team player to join as an Associate in the Investor Relations group.

The

Associate, Investor Relations , this hire,

will be fully in office 5d/wk in Los Angeles (Manhattan Beach),

and will report to the Head of Investor Relations and be part of a team effort responsible for all aspects of investor relations including, but not limited to active involvement in the production of investor marketing materials and maintenance collateral such as quarterly/annual reports; advisory board and annual meeting presentations; fundraising presentations and data room materials; and bespoke requests from investors, consultants and prospects.

The candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills and must be able to autonomously manage processes while meeting timeline requirements. This is a highly analytical role, and prior experience with financial communications. The individual would have the potential opportunity to gain additional investor relations responsibilities within the firm over time.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials for the firm’s global fundraising efforts and limited partner relationship management, including:

Marketing materials (pitch books, case studies, investment summaries)

Due diligence materials (fundraising data room materials, ad-hoc LP requests)

Quarterly letters and annual meeting materials

Bespoke investor requests that may include financial analysis, written responses, presentation creation, among other things

Maintain the firm’s website and LinkedIn

Assisting with fundraise

Manage dataroom materials and access

Work with internal teams to respond to investor requests

Assist with completing DDQ and other questionnaires

Coordinate investor onsites and plan follow-up meetings

Maintain investor and prospect trackers

Coordinating external communications and public relations efforts including press releases, email campaigns and website content

Supporting the firm’s marketing efforts through Linkedin posts, podcasts, and media

Managing the firm’s DealCloud CRM

Assisting with planning the Annual Meeting and LPAC meetings and maintaining invitee list

Conducting investor research using tools such as CapIQ, Pitchbook, and Preqin

Assisting with investor meeting follow up, including coordinating requests, drafting meeting notes, taking notes, updating the CRM, etc.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

1-3 years of relevant experience in Transaction Advisory and/or Valuation within larger Accounting firms, investment banking, investor relations/client service, investment management or a related field; M&A/private equity experience valued but not required.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or related field

Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to set priorities, multitask and monitor own workload to meet aggressive deadlines

Sharp intellect with strong financial, analytical and technical acumen

Exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy and organization

Solid quantitative skills including financial analysis. Advanced Excel skills a positive

Strong writing, editing and researching skills to draft internal and external materials

Strong work ethic, professional integrity and capable of excelling in a fast-paced environment
