Eaton’s North America Electrical Sales Division is seeking a
Sales Director - Energy Transition . This role may be located in the Northeast or Southeast region of the US and is subject to a minimum of 50% travel.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’ll help shape Eaton’s Energy Transition strategy by analyzing market trends, crafting compelling value propositions, and developing targeted coverage plans. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life—ranging from renewable energy and microgrid integration to electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
You’ll be at the forefront of identifying high-impact projects and key opportunities with major accounts, helping to guide capital investments and strategic initiatives. As a mentor and coach, you’ll empower regional sales professionals to grow their customer base and succeed in a rapidly evolving market. You thrive in a collaborative environment, leverage resources effectively, and are driven to make a meaningful impact.
In This Role You Will
Direct all sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans.
Build close relationships with key customers and distributors to enhance sales volume and customer service.
Lead the development of solution sales to meet or exceed the sales objectives of all involved divisions for the assigned segment by leveraging Eaton solution capabilities.
Provide leadership for Energy Transition sales activities and supporting marketing requirements within the Northeast and Southeast regions while leveraging existing North American Sales resources.
Work with engineering companies, customers, and key stakeholders including sales engineers, application engineers, and executive leadership personnel within the customer base.
Identify, develop, and train sales personnel related to Energy Transition initiatives.
Plan and manage sales resources to ensure adequate coverage of accounts.
Ensure strategic and district operation plans, major product launches, and key programs are properly planned, executed, and managed.
Understand major competitors’ tactics, organization, distribution strategy, and pricing while keeping management informed of trends and changes.
Understand Eaton electrical products and their competitive position in the regions.
Your Qualifications
Minimum 10 years’ experience within the electrical industry as it relates to Renewable Energy / DER integration / Microgrid sales/marketing experience
Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership role directly or indirectly leading others
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

The expected annual salary range for this role is $141,346.17 - $207,307.72 per year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
