Description The Multi-Domain Solutions division at Leidos is in search of a dedicated Warehouse Technician to enhance our large facility maintenance program management team. If you have a passion for logistics and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure prompt deliveries. Monitor and address shipment issues or delays efficiently. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors to streamline logistics operations. Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists. Maintain precise inventory records and update inventory management systems regularly. Process purchase orders while confirming quantity and specifications are met. Collaborate with warehouse teams for the accurate handling, storage, and distribution of goods. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards for all shipping and receiving documentation. Oversee import/export documentation to meet customs regulations. Keep detailed records of shipments, including costs, timelines, and vendor performance metrics. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to authenticate order details and schedules. Negotiate shipping rates and service agreements effectively. Evaluate vendor performance to ensure adherence to service-level agreements. Act as the primary liaison for internal departments and external stakeholders regarding shipment updates and logistics queries. Deliver timely communication on delivery status, rectifying discrepancies or delays as necessary. Address inquiries and provide solutions for logistics and inventory-related issues. Generate and submit logistics-related reports, including delivery performance, cost analysis, and inventory trends. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and contract management for logistics services. Support the logistics team in administrative tasks and process improvements. Basic Qualifications TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required. A high school diploma or equivalent, plus 5+ years of relevant experience. Provide top-notch customer support for service inquiries and implement corrective actions as needed. Establish company guidelines on servicing and repairs while maintaining logs, records, and files on repairs. Lead operations within a critical area that impacts outcomes for the job family. Responsible for training, delegating, and reviewing employee work throughout the workflow. Tackle complex problems that demand a comprehensive understanding of broader issues. Employ previous experience and organizational knowledge to devise solutions. Communicate effectively with contacts both within and outside the function on significant organizational matters. Possess a thorough understanding of all job aspects and their practical applications to the challenges encountered, requiring expert knowledge in specialized functions. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or TMS (Transportation Management System) software. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices. Certification in logistics or supply chain management (like CLTD or CPIM) is a plus. $39,000.00 - $70,500.00. Note: The Leidos pay range serves as a guideline and does not guarantee compensation. Offer considerations include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
