Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless warehouse operations. You will coordinate daily tasks such as material planning, inventory oversight, and efficient shipping and receiving, all while supporting the production teams through timely material movement. Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the efficient movement of materials from receipt to production, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams for effective material flow and inventory planning.
Maintain accurate inventory records, implement min/max levels, and regularly update inventory management systems.
Conduct annual inventory checks to reconcile discrepancies and bolster overall accuracy.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
Oversee shipping and receiving processes, including inspecting and organizing materials.
Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing vehicles.
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Basic Qualifications:
TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, materials planning, or inventory control.
Understanding of materials management and inventory control principles.
Familiarity with materials management systems or inventory software (e.g., ERP, MRP systems).
Ability to interpret production schedules for material flow planning.
Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
Basic knowledge of logistics, material handling, and warehousing processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or technical certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with MRP or ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Knowledge of raw material sourcing based on production specifications.
Experience with lean inventory practices or JIT concepts.
Background in manufacturing or production environments with cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to analyze inventory trends for process improvement.
Forklift certification or familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.

Pay Range:
$39,000.00 - $70,500.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level serves as a guideline and is not a firm guarantee of compensation. Several factors, including individual experience, qualifications, and internal equity, will influence any offer made.
