Responsibilities

Monitoringand flaggingcoverage acrossclient,competitor,and industry news, in addition todevelopingmediacoverage reports andflagging major mediamovesacrosstheindustry

Conducting background research, compiling, and analyzing media or competitor coverage

Providingclient service and cross-team support by attending meetings, preparing agendas and recaps, taking detailed notes, handling scheduling andlogistics,preparing client status and activity reports

Developing briefing materials, includingschedules,messagingand reporter background,to support mediainterviewsfor corporate tech executives/spokespeople

Researching, outlining, writing, editing, and proofreadingpressmaterials, specificallypress releases, media pitches, interview briefs, fact sheets,contributed articles,clientcorrespondenceand othermaterials

Demonstratingan understanding of research techniques, including analysis of media coverage and online conversation (volume and tone), and identification and categorization of various stakeholders, including organization and individuals to be engaged byclients

Engagingwith mediaincluding developing relationships with reportersandinfluencers on behalf of the client

Participating in team-wide and client-facing brainstormsrelated to announcement andmediastrategy,pitch ideas,messagingand more

Understanding key client information including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers, and competitors

Proactivelyidentifyingopportunities toshowcaseclient thought leadership through awards, speaking engagements, contributed content, and media placements

Monitoring emerging technology trends (e.g., AI agents, data privacy, digital transformation) and proactively advising clients on media opportunities and narrative pivots

Basic Qualifications

At least 1 year of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields

A bachelor’s degreeor equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstratedinterestand understanding of theenterprise technology and AIindustry and basic principles of integrated communications marketing

Experience in Communications,Marketingand/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting,mediaor publishing

Highly curious about technology, news, and people

A team player – collaborative and participatory with a diverse cross-section of stakeholders and clients

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of tech industrylandscape and top tech journalists, outlets, influencers

Ability to usesocial media platformsforstory miningand industrytrendspotting

Ability to adapt to new conditions,deadlinesandassignments

Strong work ethicand follow-through,and thedesireto providehighquality work to clients andteams

Pragmatic attitude withproblem solvingcapabilities, withconfidence to proactively share yourideas

Solid knowledge of the MS Office suite

Familiarity with using AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance content development, research, and workflow efficiency; comfortable exploring emerging technologies to uplevel work and drive smarter results

Strong grasp of the AI and enterprise software landscape, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling communications

Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines whilemaintainingquality and accuracy

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
