Head of Business Development

to spearhead expansion into wholesale, corporate gifting, events and more. As we continue our 25%+ year-over-year growth, we’re expanding into new channels that will take Cloth & Paper beyond DTC and into exciting new growth opportunities. The Opportunity

This is a brand-new leadership role designed for an

intrapreneur

who thrives on creating something impactful from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies across multiple new revenue streams while assembling the foundation for a long-term Business Development Department. This is a rare chance to join a beloved consumer brand at a pivotal moment and chart the course for its next phase of expansion. Key Responsibilities

Define and own the company’s multi-channel growth roadmap for the next 24 months. Identify, validate, and prioritize new revenue opportunities that align with the brand’s vision. Build and eventually lead a dedicated Growth team as new channels scale. B2B & Wholesale Development

Create scalable wholesale and retail partnerships. Decide on best path forward of rep groups or internal sales team. Hire and oversee sales talent. Create in-store merchandising strategy. Expand corporate gifting and private label opportunities. Brand Collaborations, Events, & Partnerships

Drive collaborations with like-minded brands to amplify visibility and reach. Oversee activations such as pop-ups, conferences, and events that elevate brand presence. Drive PR opportunities for our founder through podcasts, speaking engagements, in person events, and publication inclusions. Revenue & Performance Accountability

Establish KPIs and own performance metrics across all new channels. Ensure that each initiative scales profitably while staying true to the Cloth & Paper brand. Who We’re Looking For

Revenue Builder:

Proven experience building and scaling new revenue channels within consumer brands (ideally stationery/ paper/ books, gifts, lifestyle, fashion, luxury, or design-driven). Multi-Channel Expertise:

Hands-on success in one or more of the following: B2B/wholesale, corporate gifting, private label, or brand collaborations. Networked & Resourceful:

Strong existing industry relationships and the ability to open doors. Strategic + Hands-On:

Comfortable setting vision but equally willing to roll up your sleeves in the early stages. Leader and Team Builder:

Ability to attract, hire, and mentor future team members as growth channels mature. Qualifications & Experience

6+ years of progressive experience

in business development, growth, or general management roles within consumer brands/ lifestyle industries. Proven track record

of launching and scaling at least two new revenue channels (e.g. wholesale, corporate gifting, private label, brand collaborations, or events). Demonstrated ability to

develop strategic growth plans , set KPIs, and deliver measurable revenue outcomes. Leadership experience

managing cross-functional projects and building teams from scratch. Strong network of industry contacts across wholesale, retail, and brand partnerships. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred What We Offer
