Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Director, Global Portfolio Strategy & Operations, Global Commercial Strategy Organization to be located in Raritan, NJ. The Director will support the Worldwide Chairman for Innovative Medicine and Company Group Chairman, Global Commercial Strategy Organization, by leading transformational cross-functional strategic initiatives including the strategic plan for the pharmaceutical sector, as well as developing perspectives on key topics for internal and external communications and overall J&J IM Communication Branding. The Director will also drive process, content and business impact for large, complex, and highly visible projects. Key Responsibilities

Provide a range of strategy and operations leadership for the Group Operating Committee and/or the Global Commercial Strategy organization Design, structure and lead critical and highly visible strategic projects across J&J Innovative Medicine Execute stakeholder engagement plans to drive alignment with senior leaders and develop pragmatic strategies and implementation plans Take full accountability for successful project delivery and demonstrated business impact Formulate points of view on topics pertinent to Johnson & Johnson through primary and secondary research and analysis Lead the process to identify, gather and prioritize key goals and objectives at different levels of the organization and establish key metrics to measure performance Support the Worldwide Chairman and/or Company Group Chairman, Global Commercial Strategy Organization, through content development, presentation writing, project management, and meeting organization Interface with leaders and governing bodies at the highest levels in J&J Innovative Medicine to challenge thinking and develop new, innovative approaches Express clear points of view and conclusions to internal and external audiences through speech presentations, white papers and slide presentations Work independently to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and contribute to and develop business strategies Support new business development activities, including commercial due diligence and market/opportunity assessment & modeling Conduct evaluation of new markets and identify opportunities for new business development initiatives Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required 7 years of professional experience, with 5 or more years in a top-tier/premium strategy management consulting organization Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design, structure, and lead projects Demonstrated success in managing high-impact improvement projects and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders Excellent communication skills: listening, writing, speaking Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Demonstrated ability to develop deep insights, uncover unmet needs, drive innovation, inspire, develop, collaborate and lead within a global matrixed team Preferred

An advanced degree is highly preferred Experience working in a pharmaceutical/biotech company or on pharmaceutical strategy projects Understanding of major trends and dynamics in the pharmaceutical sector Ability to work across functional and geographic boundaries Proven track record of success in ambiguous and complex environments Ability to partner and influence leaders at all levels globally and locally without authority Other

This position is located in Raritan, NJ and may require travel up to 10% domestically and internationally The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850. The Company maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus based on individual and company performance. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion. Employees and/or eligible dependents may participate in Company-sponsored benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, group legal insurance) and retirement plans (pension and 401(k)). Time Off Benefits: Vacation up to 120 hours/year; Sick time up to 40 hours/year (Washington State: up to 56 hours); Holiday pay and Floating Holidays up to 13 days/year; Work, Personal and Family Time up to 40 hours/year.
