Research, prepare analysis, draft, and file patent applications for clients with special focus in technology, Semiconductors, Consumer Electronics, Mobile Devices, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision. Represent leading technology companies in patent litigation cases concerning a variety of technologies such as computer security, gesture recognition, mobile device security, telecommunications, wireless charging, NFC, electrical connectors for solar panels, smart fans, and LEDs. Represent clients in litigating in federal district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC) and the Patent Trial and Appeals Board (PTAB). Lead AI research, computer vision and legal and technical requirements for Technology clients. Provide legal advice on all aspects of intellectual property litigation, including assessment of claims and defenses, motions practice, discovery, depositions, Markman briefings and hearings in patent cases, and bench trial. Develop legal strategy, advice, and recommendations for clients. Communicate with clients and opposing counsel on substantive legal issues regarding intellectual property matters. Research, analyze, and present conclusions on laws, court decisions, and other relevant sources related to ongoing litigation for corporate transactions. Analyze pertinent information and documents for legal causes of action in US and internationally. Draft legal strategy for ongoing disputes or transactions based on changes in intellectual property law. Prepare memoranda or statements of issues in transactions, with appropriate legal analysis and recommendations. Draft corporate legal documentation for all pertinent filings in litigations, as needed, based on factual and legal documents. Mentor junior associates on each matter and provide guidance and context to give them the bigger picture and help them understand how their work fits into the larger client strategy. Revise junior associates' draft of briefings, motions and transaction documents, including taking all input of juniors and specialists and ensure that all materials are client ready. Delegate drafting ancillary documents or resolutions to junior team members, including effectively following up on delegation and ensure successful end-product. Salary: $310,000-$390,000 per year. Qualifications

J.D., LL.M., or U.S. equivalent in law plus at least 3 years of professional experience as an Attorney, Associate, Law Clerk, or related occupation/position/title at an international law firm advising on intellectual property matters with an emphasis on patent litigation and technology clients. Must be admitted to the California State Bar. Must also have experience with the following special skills: 3 years of professional experience developing legal strategy, advice, recommendations and filing of patent litigation for clients in the field of technology; 3 years of professional experience preparing memoranda, motions and documentation, including review of technical analysis on AI focused on Asia-Pacific clients, requirements and regulations; 3 years of professional experience preparing, drafting, and filing applications for Technology companies in matters related to mobile devices, computer vision and AI development; and 1 year of professional experience in international arbitration related to intellectual property.
