GTECH is seeking a Security Analyst / Area Security Officer (ASO) to support its customer. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive security support across multiple disciplines, including physical, personnel, industrial, and operational security. The ASO will oversee daily security operations, interpret policy, and ensure the protection and proper handling of classified information. This role requires strong communication, analysis, and program management skills to ensure compliance with all applicable directives, regulations, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply security concepts, principles, and practices to analyze and resolve complex security issues.

Collaborate and coordinate with other security offices and divisions to ensure consistent implementation of security requirements.

Provide security guidance to contractors and personnel in accordance with DoD, Intelligence Community, and federal regulations.

Prepare and disseminate security policies, procedures, and official correspondence.

Investigate and prepare impact statements and recommendations for security incidents or violations.

Interpret and implement policy related to processing, dissemination, and control of classified materials.

Receive, control, safeguard, and distribute SCI and collateral information.

Manage and track access requests, need-to-know validations, indoctrinations, debriefings, and revalidations.

Prepare, review, and process documentation for special access programs (SAP), control access programs (CAP), and ACCM materials.

Conduct site security surveys for SCIFs and collateral facilities, ensuring compliance with ICD 705 standards.

Review and prepare Fixed Facility Checklists and supporting documentation for SCIF accreditation.

Liaise with other federal agencies, contractors, and program offices to ensure cross-agency coordination and compliance.

Assist program and contracting officers in preparing task order security guidance (e.g., DD Form 254).

Develop contingency and emergency response plans to safeguard assets during elevated threat conditions.

Monitor security programs through performance metrics, reports, and audits.

Provide technical security expertise across multiple disciplines and ensure the integration of OPSEC and information security programs.

Deliver briefings and training to internal and external personnel on security processes and awareness.

Support policy interpretation, OPSEC initiatives, and the development of security education materials.

Ensure compliance with all applicable DCID, DoD, and federal executive orders regarding OPSEC and information security.

Required Skills:

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more security disciplines (personnel, physical, industrial, or operational).

Experience using IC security repositories such as DISS, Scattered Castles, or equivalent systems.

Proven experience writing formal security reports, correspondence, and documentation.

Experience delivering security briefings and training to non-security personnel.

Preferred Skills:

Experience generating and analyzing security metrics.

Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).

Experience managing SCIF accreditation processes in compliance with ICD 705

Familiarity with DoD task order security classification guidance (DD Form 254).

Experience supporting multiple security disciplines within a federal or intelligence organization.

Proficiency using Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools.
