Base pay range
$108.80/hr - $147.20/hr Responsibilities
Building/developing user interfaces and rich client browser applications using software design patterns Observing user behavior to improve the visual design and flow of analytic applications Performing user research (i.e. target users/personas) and user testing (e.g., wireframes, prototypes) Collaborating with product owners, scrum masters, project managers and other application engineers to gather, evaluate and implement solutions that support user requirements/needs Requirements
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, ReactJS, jQuery) Experience with Agile iterative software development methodology, processes and practices Experience with design software, wireframe tools, and user journey maps Knowledge of coding with UI coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX) Familiar with Security DevOps and CI/CD Working knowledge of Sketch, InVision, Visio, Figma, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite Understanding the needs of CBP Officers to build officer-centric apps and tools Ability to quickly prototype solutions leveraging usability principles The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
