Nocturnist APP | Coastal Region NC

Overview Novant Health New Hanover Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and experienced Nocturnist Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join an established, growing team of 40 physicians and 9 APPs to provide care to our patients under the direction of inpatient physicians in Wilmington, NC. The ideal provider would have experience with admissions, be flexible and able to work weekends and nights (11 hour shifts).

Position will also pick up periodic shifts at Novant Health Pender Memorial Hospital.

Responsibilities & Duties

Provide overnight care to patients, respond to codes, and provide cross-coverage.

Inpatient Hospitalist Care.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA-accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post-master’s NP program required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in the appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, BLS, and DEA registry required.
