Hospitalist Physician — Starting Salary $368,794, Sign On Bonus $75,000, Relocation $15,000 Bethel, Alaska: The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization serving nearly 30,000 people in rural southwest Alaska. Bethel is the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region. Position Summary
The Hospitalist Physician shall be committed to contributing to the Mission of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, “to achieve the greatest possible improvement in the health status of the people of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region of Alaska.” The Hospitalist Physician is an employee working under the supervision of the Medical Director, who is supervised by the Clinical Services Administrator. Position Qualifications
Minimum Education: Must have completed an accredited medical school. Minimum Experience: Must have completed a residency training program and be board eligible or board certified (unless specific exception is made) by the AMA or AOA. License, Certification, Registration: Alaska State License and DEA License. Equipment/Tools/Word-Aids: Computer skills to access computerized medical records. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Ability to practice medicine in the area of your specialty. Supervisory Responsibilities: Ability to supervise medical students, residents, physician extenders and community Health Aide clinical practice. Benefits Include
