See yourself in our team: Human Resources (HR) plays a vital role in supporting our organisation and the breadth of our function is significant: talent acquisition, performance and remuneration, learning and organisational development, talent management, diversity and inclusion, culture, workplace relations, and Business Unit HR advice and support. The Institutional Banking and Markets Human Resources team provides strategic HR business partnering support to our branches across Americas, UK, Europe and Asia, driving business performance through leading people strategies. The role reports to the Executive General Manager, Human Resources, IBM & BB, and is a member of the IB&M HR Leadership Team with responsibility for the Americas. You will work closely with the Americas Leadership team in shaping and delivering the Americas business strategy. You will contribute to the Branches culture and capability development by executing a globally aligned people plan. The role will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA\'s Values and People Capabilities. Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives and support the growth and development of the Americas region. Collaborate with senior executives to understand business needs and develop aligned HR strategies. Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent management, workforce planning, and employee relations. Lead partnership with the Global Mobility team to manage international transfers, while holding end-to-end accountability for local immigration compliance and visa processes, including maintaining up to date knowledge of U.S. immigration policy and regulatory changes to proactively mitigate risk. Serve as a key member of the 401(k) Plan Committee, working in close partnership with the plan’s broker, with fiduciary accountability for making decisions in the best interest of the plan participants. Hold overarching local accountability for both supplier and people-related risk and compliance, ensuring alignment with internal governance frameworks and external regulatory requirements. Local oversight of payroll and benefits operations, including 401(k) administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications

Over 10 years of progressive HR generalist experience, underpinned by a formal degree qualification. Experience working across Financial Services is required and Institutional or Investment Banking experience will be highly valued. Strong influencing, consulting and stakeholder management skills and ability to build respectful, trust-based relationships at senior levels. Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset that is applied to deliver practical people solutions. Thorough understanding of current best practice people, culture & engagement methodologies and the ability to deliver with excellence. Successful design and implementation of customer centric strategic and transformational people initiatives for global front line businesses. Proven ability to build influential relationships with C-suite executives and global HR teams to drive business outcomes in a matrixed environment. AI curiosity: Genuine interest and foundational knowledge in AI capabilities, with experience using GenAI tools (like ChatGPT, CoPilot, or similar) to enhance work efficiency and innovation in HR practices.
