Position: Network Architect Location: Greater Salt Lake City, UT (Remote) This role is remote, with occasional travel. Responsibilities

Design and deliver resilient, scalable network architectures for multi-location enterprises (WAN/SD WAN, MPLS, VPN, WAN optimization, campus/data center, cloud/network interconnects), ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless connectivity between offices, data centers, and cloud providers. Define and enforce network security architecture and controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, micro-segmentation, segmentation gateways, Zero Trust network models), integrating with SIEM/XDR, IAM, and endpoint tooling to meet requirements of major frameworks and regulations (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, PCI, SOC2, GDPR). Lead network automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring and observability (telemetry, SNMP/NetFlow/IPFIX, synthetic testing), capacity planning, and change control to enable repeatable deployments, rapid troubleshooting, and measurable SLAs across distributed locations. Partner with security, cloud, application, and operations stakeholders to produce architecture artifacts, run migrations and PoCs, manage vendor/partner relationships, and provide governance, standards, and operational runbooks to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.
