Overview
Koniag IT Systems LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Mobility Administrator to support KITS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain enterprise MDM/EMM systems, ensuring device compliance and connectivity.
Provision, enroll, and decommission mobile devices in accordance with organizational policy.
Apply and monitor mobile security configurations, ensuring data protection and compliance with standards.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of mobile device and application issues.
Monitor system performance, generate reports, and escalate issues as needed.
Implement process improvements to streamline device management and support activities.
Maintain accurate inventory and property control for assigned mobile assets.
Document procedures, configurations, and support records for audit and continuity purposes.
Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance with enterprise policies.
Stay informed of emerging mobile technologies and participate in testing and evaluation activities.
Education and Experience
Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
2+ years of hands-on experience supporting mobile devices, applications, and MDM/EMM platforms in an enterprise environment.
Required Skills and Competencies
Working knowledge of mobile device management platforms (e.g., Intune, AirWatch, MobileIron).
Experience with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and application deployment processes.
Basic understanding of mobile VPNs, network connectivity, and cloud integration.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of information security principles, access control, and device compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organizational skills for tracking assets and maintaining documentation.
Desired Skills and Competencies
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Mobility+.
Experience with automation scripting or report generation tools.
Familiarity with QA/QC practices and process improvement methodologies.
Interest in professional growth toward engineering or architecture-level mobility roles.
