This role is ideal for a candidate with 2–4 years of experience who is passionate about storytelling, visually-driven content, and engaging with sophisticated audiences. The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in executing day-to-day social media activities, supporting content creation, coordinating with influencers and creators, and ensuring consistent alignment with the brand’s identity. Working closely with internal teams, external agencies, and creative partners, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful campaigns and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced luxury environment.## Essential Job FunctionsSocial Media Management & Content Support* Assist in managing, curating, and scheduling content across all social platforms — including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Vimeo, Twitter/X, and YouTube — ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and tone.* Support the Social Media Manager and external agency in planning and executing social media campaigns that resonate with a luxury audience.* Collaborate with internal teams (digital marketing, PR, creative) and external partners to source, organize, and deliver high-quality creative assets.* Assist with writing and editing captions, social copy, and promotional messaging that reflect the brand’s voice and aesthetic.Community Engagement & Reputation Management* Monitor social media channels daily, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.* Support the moderation of third-party review sites and assist in maintaining a positive brand presence across digital platforms.* Help identify opportunities for proactive community engagement to strengthen brand loyalty and audience growth.Campaign Execution & Analytics* Partner with the Social Media Manager and agency to execute paid and organic campaigns, ensuring smooth deployment and accurate content scheduling.* Track social media performance metrics, assist with preparing reports, and provide insights to inform future strategies.* Stay informed on emerging trends, competitive activity, and luxury social media best practices, sharing recommendations with the team.Influencer & Content Creator Coordination* Support influencer and content creator partnerships by helping to coordinate firsthand experiences, content approvals, and campaign deliverables.* Assist in coordinating timelines, ensuring seamless execution of collaborations that reflect the brand’s image.Administrative & Cross-Functional Support* Maintain and update the social media content calendar, ensuring alignment across teams and platforms.* Assist with administrative tasks related to content planning, campaign tracking, invoicing, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external agencies.## CompetencyEducation:* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferredSkills & Experience:* 2-4 years of experience managing social media for premium or luxury brands, preferably in hospitality or a similar industry* Proven track record of success in social media community management and engagement* Strong understanding of influencer marketing and experience managing influencer partnerships* Experience working both with in-house teams and external agencies* Possess a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends — ideally demonstrated through an established personal social presence* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a sharp eye for detail and a polished, brand-aligned tone* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across teams and external partners* Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)* Hands-on experience with social media management and analytics tools, such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or similar platforms* Familiarity with project management tools such as Airtable, Asana, or Trello* Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro - to support basic content editing when needed* Creative, resourceful, and proactive self-starter who takes initiative to learn, solve problems, and deliver results* Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude* Passionate about luxury hospitality, lifestyle trends, and social media storytelling with an understanding of what resonates with discerning audiences* Operates with a sense of urgency and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality## Work Environment* This is a full-time, hybrid position, working at least two (2) days a week from our downtown Fort Lauderdale office* Requires working additional time outside of normal business hoursThe Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is an Equal opportunity, inclusive employer and will consider all applicants for employment with the Company on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
