SUD - License Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) Program Position Summary Lifeline Services is hiring an SUD LPHA to support our growing team. You will be responsible for providing individual and family therapy to youth ages 12-17 who are participating in substance abuse services. Therapy is delivered a strength-based, client-driven manner that enables the family to support the youth's success in recovery.

The therapist will receive individual and group supervision and associates earn hours towards BBS licensure. Come join a multi-disciplinary team in a stable and well-respected social service agency, working with youth and families to help them live better lives!

Required Qualifications

Registered in the state of California with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT/ASW/APCC)

Experience in substance abuse assessment

At least 1 year experience working with co-occurring abuse services

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Determines initial medical necessity for admission with a face-to-face interaction if SUD Counselor completed intake.

Provides clinical/recovery services and conducts mental health assessments.

Works closely with SUD Counselors to complete Level of Care (LOC) and individualized Treatment Plans within county timelines.

Conducts groups, individual counseling, and family therapy sessions.

Completes other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Full-time, nonexempt position

Monday - Fridays - flexible hours (may include evenings and weekends)

$30.00-$33.00/hr

Salary will commensurate with experience and education. Differential pay offered for bilingual skills. EEO.

Additional Requirement

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a good driving record.

Willing to use own, properly insured, reliable vehicle for the job (mileage reimbursed).

Employment subject to clearances, including background finger printing checks, driving record, tuberculosis testing, and drug testing.
