Job Description As the
PLM Lead
within Oracle Consulting, you will serve as the functional and solutioning authority for
Oracle Cloud PLM
within our organization. Acting as a senior individual contributor, you will lead major PLM design, configuration, and deployment initiatives, spanning
Innovation Management, Product Development, Product Hub, and Quality
modules.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional business teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and IT) and external partners to design scalable, efficient PLM processes that enable seamless product innovation, lifecycle governance, and master data management.
You’ll translate complex PLM requirements into scalable, compliant, and globally consistent data models that enable seamless integration across manufacturing, supply chain, pricing, and finance functions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the
subject matter expert (SME)
for Oracle Cloud PLM covering architecture, design, configuration, and integration.
Lead
end-to-end PLM implementations , including process mapping, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Translate business needs into scalable PLM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with ERP, SCM, and Manufacturing modules.
Develop and maintain key solution artifacts:
functional design documents, configuration workbooks, process flow diagrams, data mappings, and test scripts .
Drive the design and governance of
item structures, change orders, product specifications, and lifecycle phases .
Define and implement
product data governance
and stewardship processes across global business units.
Collaborate with
Product Hub
stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to master data, attributes, catalogs, and hierarchies.
Oversee configuration of
Quality Management
modules, ensuring alignment with compliance standards.
Partner with
Integration and Technical teams
to design robust data flows between PLM and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud SCM, Manufacturing, or EBS).
Lead workshops on
Item Class strategy, change management, lifecycle governance, and attribute inheritance .
Configure and optimize
complex item models
for multi-variant and configurable products.
Partner with costing teams to establish item cost structures, cost organizations, and integration with
Oracle Product Costing Cloud .
Define and implement standards for
UOMs, catalogs, and attribute hierarchies
to support analytics and downstream integrations.
Support
testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Regression)
and validate system readiness prior to production rollout.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with Oracle and internal IT.
Champion Oracle Cloud best practices, promote continuous improvement, and drive adoption across end-user groups.
Mentor junior consultants and serve as a trusted advisor to project managers and business leads.
Qualifications & Experience
8+ years
of experience in Product Lifecycle Management, with
4+ years
of hands‑on Oracle Cloud PLM (Innovation, Product Development, Product Hub, and Quality).
Proven experience delivering
at least two full lifecycle PLM implementations
on Oracle Cloud or Agile PLM.
Deep understanding of PLM processes -
new product introduction (NPI), engineering change management (ECN/ECO), item master governance, and quality event management .
Strong configuration experience with
Oracle Cloud Product Hub (PDH) , including item classes, catalogs, extensible attributes, and governance workflows.
Working knowledge of
Item structures
and product structure synchronization with ERP / Manufacturing modules.
Familiarity with
OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud)
or other middleware for PLM-ERP data synchronization.
Strong business process knowledge across
product design, supply chain, and quality domains .
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to data integrity and process standardization.
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, able to lead workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
Self‑driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to travel (if required) for client workshops or on‑site engagements.
Preferred / “Nice to Have” Skills
Exposure to
Oracle Cloud SCM, Manufacturing, Quality, and ERP
integrations.
Knowledge of
regulatory compliance processes
(FDA, ISO, cGMP) and quality documentation management.
Familiarity with
Oracle Visual Builder Studio ,
BI Publisher , and
Reports
for PLM analytics.
Certification in
Oracle Cloud PLM or PDH
modules.
Strong understanding of
product data governance frameworks
and enterprise data quality programs.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
