Our client, a leading international law firm, has an active need for a corporate lawyer to join its Mergers & Acquisitions practice as an associate in Chicago. Responsibilities:

Advise private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and public and private companies in connection with their M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations, and joint ventures

Assist with leveraged buyouts, divestitures, and growth equity investments

Draft agreements for corporate transactions, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and ancillary documents

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience handling complex corporate transactions, including private equity buyouts or strategic acquisitions, carve‑outs, recapitalizations and other M&A transactions

Large law firm experience (Am Law 50 preferred)

Excellent academic credentials

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
