Position Summary Principles First is seeking a
Digital Manager or Director
(depending on experience) with knowledge of political campaigns to lead our digital strategy and online communications. The ideal candidate will have managed social media, email, websites, and digital advertising for political campaigns or advocacy organizations. This role is critical for growing our online presence, engaging supporters, and driving measurable outcomes across campaigns and initiatives.
Salary Range:
$65k - $90k
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies for campaigns, initiatives, and events.
Manage all social media accounts, website content, and email communications.
Create compelling digital content (graphics, videos, posts) to engage political audiences and supporters.
Lead targeted digital advertising campaigns with clear performance metrics.
Analyze campaign data to optimize digital engagement and reach.
Collaborate with program and communications teams on messaging and online promotion.
Stay current on emerging political digital trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in digital strategy, preferably on political campaigns (local, state, or federal).
Deep knowledge of social media platforms, digital advertising, and email marketing software.
Strong content creation skills with an eye for political messaging.
Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
Passion for civic engagement, democracy, and principled politics.
