A Store Manager for our Aventura Mall Boutique. The Store Manager is a leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, embodies strategic foresight, and fosters collaboration. The Store Manager will take decisive actions to propel business initiatives forward. They will create and execute business strategies to develop the Boutique as a place for client engagement and connection, and act as an Ambassador of the Maison, embodying its values. Responsibilities
Network Development and Brand Ambassador:
Maintain a strong front-of-house presence, ensuring an excellent in-store experience and fostering a "couture service" mindset. Network Development and Brand Ambassador:
Drive the implementation of company strategies by coaching, motivating, and supporting the Boutique team, ensuring strong adoption and understanding of company strategies. Network Development and Brand Ambassador:
embody Valentino codes and engage local people with the brand. Network Development and Brand Ambassador:
Attract and recruit new clients from personal networks and external partners. Network Development and Brand Ambassador:
Develop clienteling mindset, client loyalty, and retention from beginners to VICs. Business and Sales Performance:
Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve overall sales targets while ensuring operational integrity and monthly profitability plans. Regularly analyze and monitor store KPIs, devising and implementing robust action plans to meet and exceed targets. At the beginning of each year, craft a comprehensive store strategy, revisited quarterly, to align with broader company objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the seamless execution of business plans. Identify and seize opportunities to enhance performance through strategic partnerships with corporate stakeholders. Manage personnel expenses within budgetary constraints and adhere to discounting policies to preserve brand integrity. Partner with Merchandising and Buying teams to ensure relevant products are in-store to drive revenue. Report weekly to the Valentino Leadership team on sales trends and opportunities to increase sales. Team Leadership & Management:
Cultivate a motivating and inclusive environment that values diversity and teamwork. Conflict Management: demonstrate managerial courage to provide direct and actionable feedback; engage with Retail Director & HRBP as needed. Commit to the professional growth of each team member, preparing them for future advancements. Ensure all staff adhere to high standards of professionalism, from grooming to conduct. Set SMART goals and ensure optimal staffing schedules to maximize team performance and compliance with labor regulations. Communicate company content through morning briefings, product updates, and CRM training. Build the team through talent retention and recruitment with HR support, including career development and succession planning. In charge of all recruiting activities in the store in partnership with HR & Talent Acquisition. Plan daily activities, organize staff, and ensure day-to-day execution. Create and maintain a motivated, positive, and safe work environment; manage delicate situations per Company policies and employment laws. Regularly organize store meetings and keep the team informed regarding store performance and sales objectives. Assign quantitative and qualitative objectives and ensure they are achieved. CRM and Events Management:
Guarantee excellent client experience by monitoring sales activities and ensuring Valentino Client Journey standards are followed. Implement clienteling in-store to engage, recruit, retain, and upgrade clients, with attention to local domestic clients. Maintain external relations with networks, clients, and partners to promote brand loyalty and expand the network. Manage the client database, promote brand loyalty according to CRM requirements, and develop direct marketing actions toward loyal and inactive clients. Ensure use of digital tools and assets in the client journey and clienteling routine. Assist Team Manager with delicate situations regarding sales activities or after-sales processes while ensuring compliance with procedures. Continuously develop knowledge of HQ guidelines and corporate policies. Transform customer interactions into meaningful relationships through a robust client development strategy. Engage with local partners and community events to enhance brand visibility and market reach. Store Operations and Merchandise:
Stay informed on operational policies to minimize loss and optimize store performance. Participate in operational tasks when Ops HC is not present (including shipping/receiving). Guarantee end-of-season returns and product transfers. Manage inventory activities and be responsible for results. Manage cash and payment systems per Company procedures. Oversee store accountancy audits and ensure procedures are followed. Ensure store maintenance to keep furnishings, machinery, and tools efficient. Collaborate with Merchandising and Buying on seasonal buys. Monitor product rotation to align with sales potential with Merchandising/Buying support. Visual Merchandising:
Liaise with HQ Visual Merchandising to verify and report visual criteria effectiveness in relation to sales; report relevant information. Ensure VM reflects strategy and guidelines are executed in-store; maintain order and cleanliness of windows and internal displays. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. Minimum 5 years of experience in Store Management or leadership role. Luxury department store management experience preferred but not required. Proven track record in achieving results and team development. Excellent knowledge of product and client journey. Strong business acumen and understanding of store and team performance and KPIs. Proactive in identifying business opportunities and proposing action plans. Positive and effective team management skills; motivates team. Excellent organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills. Demonstrates confidence and ability to develop relationships with clients, team, and business. Clear and concise communication skills – verbal and written. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
