Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid; in-office/travel 2-3 times per week) About The Role

The Director, Security and Surveillance will lead all BetMGM facilities, with a focus on our corporate headquarters in Jersey City, NJ. The role will also oversee all partnership properties that BetMGM team members work in or visit regularly. You will lead security, surveillance and corporate office facility operations teams, provide mentorship, and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures. You will build out the security, surveillance and facility strategy for all BetMGM assets and assist with business needs for new locations and affiliate properties. You will support Senior leadership with needs assessments where applicable. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, enjoy strategic forward planning, and possess knowledge of multi-dimensional security and surveillance needs. Responsibilities

Manage all security- and surveillance-related operational matters across various properties and events; lead Senior Managers and provide effective leadership during major crises/incidents Support leadership with the implementation and execution of strategic goals to deliver guest service using feedback and data; manage guest service delivery aligned with the property's core standards Support leadership and facilities personnel in BetMGM properties, including headquarters in Jersey City, NJ and all affiliate/partnership properties Provide ongoing safety and security consultation, including annual training efforts such as active shooter, OSHA and emergency preparedness Understand and maintain knowledge of local, state and federal laws; maintain relationships with local law enforcement, gaming agents and regulatory bodies Collaborate with local law enforcement to uphold law and order, maintain guest and team member safety, and respond to emergencies Address guest and team member questions or concerns promptly, ensuring accurate information or effective resolution Lead all facility functions, including ensuring equipment and building systems are maintained and functioning Lead emergency response center duties and respond to emergencies as needed; provide clear guidance during evacuations, severe weather, natural disasters, and security threats Recommend solutions to resolve incidents and minimize business impact Manage relationships with Security/Surveillance and Facilities vendors; review contracts for alignment with business needs and standards Manage vendors to complete work orders and contracted services Oversee planning and execution of new facility builds for Security and Surveillance, including access control, surveillance infrastructure, and cross-area coordination Ensure policies, procedures and compliance standards are followed; maintain knowledge of internal controls and company policies Implement HR initiatives that foster collaboration, respect, and belonging; drive performance feedback, recognition, and development Ensure proper reporting and communication between surveillance and security for incident reports and regulatory items Maintain oversight of key controls and issuance of team member badges and permits Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Legal Officer Essential Functions

Must be willing and able to travel between worksites regularly, including Corporate Headquarters (Jersey City, NJ); Cincinnati, OH; Glendale, AZ; Ontario, Canada. Qualifications

Ability to gain and maintain a Gaming License through regulatory bodies; advanced licensing may be required depending on the role 7+ years of security or surveillance operations experience in government or private industry, including risk assessments, security plans, and after-action reports Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental entities Previous leadership experience in a similar setting; ability to mentor teams Strong communication and crisis-management skills; ability to work under pressure and advise executives Gaming Compliance & Licensing
