About the Role The Senior Manager of Payments Product and Vendor Management will lead the optimization, development, and commercial success of BetMGM Payments, Risk and Fraud. Operating under the Sr. Director of Risk, Fraud & Payments, this role manages staff and oversees priorities, quality control, training, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for payments and vendor management systems aligned with company goals.
Lead the product team to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, develop business cases, and conduct ROI analysis and risk assessment.
Own vendor selection, onboarding, and evaluation process for third‑party payment and financial service providers, negotiating contracts and SLAs.
Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and track performance with regular reviews.
Set KPIs and success metrics for product performance and vendor relationships.
Lead end‑to‑end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration, prioritizing features based on impact, feedback, and feasibility.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal risk policies.
Manage and optimize payment processing infrastructure, including gateways, processors, and alternative payment methods.
Implement continuous feedback loops to improve products and processes.
Qualifications
7+ years leading product teams, vendor management, and commercial negotiation in Technology, Financial Services, Payments, Ecommerce, or Online Gaming.
Comfortable in a matrixed environment, with proven ability to partner across Product, Operations, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
Proven ability to lead projects, manage vendors, and oversee complex solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for cross‑functional teams and executive leadership.
Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $136,000 to $181,334, plus a performance‑based bonus plan. Salary may vary by market and candidate qualifications.
