Opportunity We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who is familiar with Agile and Scaled Agile processes (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) and supporting enterprise‑level products. You will be working with teams based in the US and Europe, closely collaborating with the Design (UX), Product, Data Science, and Product Engineering organizations. Your role is to ensure deliverables are properly scoped, dependencies are accounted for, and projects meet goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Agile Coaches, Engineering, and Product to align on competing priorities and ensure the backlog is properly prioritized with project‑level requirements.

Run project status meetings to determine progress, identify roadblocks, drive resolution or ensure a clear hand‑off to the right owner, and work to minimize risks.

Provide clear, concise, and accurate written communication in the form of status reports to executive management.

Report project statuses to teammates and other stakeholders.

Work closely with all stakeholders to review priorities and project deliverables.

Attend cross‑team meetings and articulate any issues, changes in priority, or blockers that impact projects.

Create project timelines and Jira Plans to manage and communicate project timelines, including milestones, dependencies, and risks.

Track interdependencies, assess project risk, identify mitigations, and work across teams to develop contingency plans.

Assist Engineering teams with work estimation and resource allocation.

Conduct regular project reviews, gather feedback, capture outputs in tickets and/or notes, and communicate to stakeholders.

Run product release management processes, including SAFe PI planning and demos, roadmap planning, change request management, and Scrum of Scrums.

Contribute to and improve the PMO center of excellence.

Qualifications Required Skills and Experience

6‑8 years managing end‑to‑end complex technical projects.

High proficiency administering Atlassian Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps and Confluence.

Deep experience with using ScriptRunner for Jira.

Deep experience creating and maintaining Confluence and Jira dashboards.

Proficiency with MS Excel or Google Sheets and Google Suite products.

Self‑starter with ability to work independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be familiar with managing and running Scaled Agile principles, SAFe, such as Program Increment Planning and demos in an agile environment.

Nice to Have

Working with and coordinating work for Design and UX teams.

Running projects involving data pipelines and working with enterprise applications that visualize and analyze very large data sets.

Compensation Range Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. The salary compensation for this role is $90,000 - $130,000 USD/year. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, and business and company performance.
