Marketing Director at ERES Companies. The role is based in Sarasota, Florida, and is a full-time (in-office) position. The Director of Marketing will lead marketing efforts across corporate, divisional, and project-specific initiatives and help shape the firm’s branding, communications, and market growth strategy, including activities for ERES Capital and related investments. Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership: Partner with the ERES leadership team to shape and drive marketing strategies across corporate, divisional, and project-specific initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor, identify opportunities, and proactively flag potential challenges. Thought Leadership Content Development & Copywriting: Research, conceptualize, and produce content for websites, social media, press materials, brochures, offering memorandums, proposals, email campaigns, blogs, award submissions, speaking abstracts, and related materials. Proposal Development: Create high-impact proposals under tight deadlines, including content development, layout/design, and production of graphics to highlight key themes. Brand & Visual Identity Management: Guide the direction and execution of visual branding for ERES and affiliates, including logo work, website updates, signage, and consistent application of brand standards. Social Media Strategy & Growth: Develop and manage social media presence, set measurable goals with the marketing team, create content calendars, produce high-quality content, and analyze metrics to drive growth. Website & Analytics Oversight: Maintain current, accurate websites; monitor analytics to inform strategy, improve user experience, and optimize lead generation. Marketing Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, track spend against results, and report ROI to leadership. Public Relations & Third-Party Alliances: Develop PR strategy, maintain media contacts, secure opportunities for press and speaking engagements, and build marketing partnerships across ERES markets. Market Engagement & Representation: Attend local events in Sarasota and other ERES markets as a brand ambassador; build relationships with community leaders and partners. Project-Based Marketing Support: Conduct market research for new developments and capital projects; assist with branding, launch plans, collateral, and stakeholder communications for large projects. Corporate Responsibility & Foundations Support: Plan and execute ERES Foundations events in collaboration with the Director of Strategic Initiatives. Internal Communications: Manage internal communications (all-employee updates) to keep staff informed and engaged with the company vision and initiatives. Deliverable Oversight: Ensure property-specific and business-line deliverables meet client expectations and align with brand standards across channels. Flexible Marketing Support: Contribute to a variety of marketing, branding, advertising, social media, PR, and communications tasks as needed. Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 10 years of increasing responsibility in marketing roles, with a focus on commercial real estate or professional services. Demonstrated success in launching strategic corporate marketing initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, journalism, or closely related field required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus. This position requires an in-office presence in Sarasota, FL.
