Marketing Associate
role at
Vital Design Location: Portsmouth, NH (on-site). The associate position is on-site; candidates should be local to the New Hampshire seacoast area and will be expected to commute to our Portsmouth office full-time for their first year. Responsibilities
Complete Vital-created training around core production tasks so you can execute them (reporting, link building, monthly maintenance, and page building, to name a few). Work with account managers, strategists, and production team members to execute and report on client projects and digital strategies to help clients meet their goals. Technical Skills & Experience
Have the ability to rapidly learn the ins and outs of marketing and creative services software systems, including, but not limited to: Google Analytics (GA4), WordPress, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Gravity Forms, Moz, Hotjar, OptinMonster, MailChimp, and more. You will be responsible for learning how to navigate through each one and becoming an active participant in problem-solving, troubleshooting and task execution both independently and with your team. Commit to one year in the role to learn the production team and its purpose at Vital. Excellent time management and communication skills in-person and digitally; exceptional attention to detail; ownership of tasks; flexibility with deadlines and priorities; and the ability to execute multiple complex projects as a reliable team player. An ideal candidate will be inbound marketing certified (via HubSpot) and have understanding of basic digital marketing and website-building terms and strategies. An Ideal Candidate Will
Be inbound marketing certified (via HubSpot). Understand basic digital marketing and website-building terms and strategies, including: Blogging, SEO, Link building, Email marketing, Social media marketing, CRO, KPI. Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint; be comfortable with WordPress; be familiar with Google Sheets, Google Docs and Looker Studio; have some knowledge of GA4 and basic data interpretation; and have knowledge of marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Campaign Monitor, and others. One year commitment to learn the ins and outs of the production team and Vital’s processes.
